The workshop was conducted with the support of various departments and urban local bodies under the Government of Puducherry.

The workshop brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to explore climate risk mitigation strategies, enable peer-to-peer learning, and gain local knowledge through expert-led sessions. Participants participated in a hands-on group exercise on mapping urban heat risks and prototyping context-appropriate solutions.

An exposure visit to flood-prone areas across Puducherry enabled participants to gain firsthand insight into the region’s floodplain challenges. It served as a foundation for in-depth discussions on formulating context-specific climate resilience strategies.
